Intervista videoCome prima domanda - ora che siamo ben addentro il pellegrinaggio ecumenico di quest'anno de "La Vera Vita in Dio" - vorresti commentare le tue esperienze durante il pellegrinaggio?
Andare in pellegrinaggio per me significa ricerca di Dio. Più o meno ogni pellegrinaggio aiuta l'uomo in ricerca a trovare la persona di Gesù Cristo. Che è la cosa che considero più importante nella vita di un uomo. Questo pellegrinaggio è una grande esperienza per me. Siamo qui nella 'città eterna' con persone diverse e di diverse confessioni, stiamo cercando di conoscerci l'un l'altro per soddisfare il desiderio di Gesù "che tutti siano una cosa sola!"
Ci sono alcune cose che Gesù ci ha detto di fare, e una è quella di pregare per la vocazione spirituale, di pregare la potenza dello Spirito Santo! Egli stesso ha pregato per l'unità. Perché era in grado di vedere nel futuro. Sapeva, come Dio, che la gente si sarebbe separata, sarebbe andata per vie diverse. Così ha pregato per l'unità. E noi siamo qui a chiedere che questa sua preghiera sia ascoltata, che porti all'unità di tutte le persone, che tutti siano uno, che abbiano un solo pastore, come voleva Gesù.
Potresti dirci come sei entrato in contatto con Vassula e i messaggi de "La Vera Vita in Dio"?
Ho incontrato Vassula per la prima volta in Svizzera, quando ero in missione. Ci siamo incontrati a cena insieme. Ero in missione dal 1995 al 2000. Mi ero già letto alcuni dei libri ed ero convinto trattarsi di una rivelazione autentica. Leggendo questi libri si scopre come la persona di Gesù Cristo è la Persona che dovrebbe essere la nostra fonte di vita, lo scopo della nostra vita. Si sente che Gesù è di nuovo qui sulla terra. Gesù vuole che l'uomo apra il suo cuore e lo accolga, gli consenta di diventare la sua felicità e gioia.
Gesù sta cercando di aiutarci ad essere felici qui sulla terra, mentre, naturalmente, ci promette la felicità celeste in paradiso. Ecco perché per Lui, come il Divin Salvatore, le divisioni fra gli uomini sono così dolorose. Se ci si innamora di Gesù Cristo, se noi ci abbandoniamo a Lui, allora non c'è niente di meglio da fare che lavorare per l'unità, che noi tutti siamo uno. Ecco perché questo Messaggio [La Vera Vita in Dio] è così essenziale, così importante, e tutti dovrebbero leggerlo per aprirsi e accettarlo.
Spesso le persone che seguono i messaggi di Medjugorje si oppongono ai messaggi de "La Vera Vita in Dio". Ti sembra normale, come si giustifica?
Penso che il motivo principale è che le persone non conoscono i Messaggi e questa è probabilmente la ragione per cui non li capiscono e vi si oppongono, non li hanno letti.
Probabilmente sentono la negatività di altri?
La gente ha sentito dire che Roma, il Vaticano, era contro i messaggi, quindi sono contro 'a priori'. Ma tutti coloro che li leggono e meditano su di essi, sono in grado di vedere che non c'è nulla contro la fede o la Chiesa, semplicemente aiutano l'uomo ad amare la Chiesa, per arrivare ad amare Gesù e vivere con lui.
Venendo alla tua responsabilità di annunciare in anticipo i segreti di Medjugorje, potresti dire qualche parola su questo argomento?
Per quanto riguarda i segreti, se qualcuno è interessato a sapere, potrei dire che Mirjana ha ricevuto tutti e dieci i segreti e che a nome di tutti i veggenti di Medjugorje li rivelerà, quando sarà il momento. E' anche confermato che i segreti sono stati donati a Mirjana, e quindi ogni veggente riceverà tutti e dieci i segreti. I primi due segreti sono avvertimenti per tutti coloro che hanno creduto a Medjugorje. Quando saranno realizzati, tutti sapranno che i veggenti hanno detto la verità e che la Madonna era a Medjugorje. Il terzo segreto è il segno visibile sulla collina delle apparizioni, che sarà di grande gioia per coloro che hanno creduto e che hanno vissuto il Vangelo in conformità con i messaggi che la Madonna ha dato a Medjugorje. Dieci giorni prima dei segreti tutti sapranno cosa sta succedendo e il sacerdote insieme a Mirjana sarà in preghiera e digiuno. Poi, tre giorni prima, sarà possibile proclamarli 'Urbi et orbi'.
Sarai in contatto personale con Mirjana? Sarete insieme?
Lei conosce il mio numero di telefono e non sarà un problema essere insieme. I primi due segreti e anche il terzo, sono collegati a Medjugorje, così saremo costretti ad essere a Medjugorje per il compimento di questi segreti.
Stai anticipando che, quando i primi tre segreti saranno stati annunciati e compiuti, il mondo, nel suo insieme, crederà all'autenticità di Medjugorje?
Spero che questo aiuterà molte persone a mettere a posto la loro vita, a convertirsi, a credere e diventare persone nuove. In ogni caso sappiamo tutti che quando Gesù è venuto duemila anni fa, sono avvenuti molti segni miracolosi. E la santa Messa è di per sé un miracolo, un segno che si verifica ogni giorno. Vediamo quanto sia difficile far tornare le persone a Dio, e quanto difficile convertire le persone. Penso e spero che, quando questi segni ed i segreti saranno realizzati, aiutino tutti, almeno coloro che hanno visitato Medjugorje.
Naturalmente molte persone hanno sperato, pregato e vissuto secondo il santo Vangelo, anche se non hanno ancora visitato Medjugorje. Spero che sarà una chiamata finale al popolo per la conversione, a tornare a Dio e ad iniziare a fare affidamento su Dio.
* La questione non è marginale in quanto: se ha ragione Radiomaria, P. Petar manca gravemente di discernimento e non sa distinguere fra veggenti veri e falsi (ma la Madonna non gli ha affidato il delicato compito di svelare al mondo i dieci segreti?); se invece P. Petar ha ragione, quelli che credono nell'infallibilità degli anatemi di Radiomaria dovrebbero farsi venire qualche dubbio. E magari iniziare ad usare la loro testa.

As a first question, as we are now well into this year's True Life in God ecumenical pilgrimage, would you like to comment on your experiences during the pilgrimage?
Going on pilgrimage for me means searching for God. More or less every pilgrimage helps a man in searching to find the Person of Jesus Christ. That is something I consider the most important thing in a man’s life. This pilgrimage is a great experience for me. We are here in the ‘Eternal City’ with different people and different denominations, where we are trying to get to know each other to fulfil Jesus' desire "That all be one!".
There are a few things that Jesus told us we have to do - of which one is to pray for a spiritual vocation to pray for the power of the Holy Spirit! He himself prayed for Unity. Because he was able to look in the future He knew, as He is God, that people will separate, they will go their different ways. So He prayed for Unity. And we are here to pray that this, His prayer, will be heard, which will lead us to the Unity of all people, that all be One, to have one Shepherd as Jesus wanted.
Could you tell us how you first came into contact with Vassula and the True Life in God Messages
I met Vassula for the first time in Switzerland when I was a missionary. We met together over dinner. I was a missionary from 1995 to 2000. I had already read several of the books by myself and was convinced that it was an authentic revelation. Reading these books we discover how the Person of Jesus Christ is the Person who should be our source of life, the goal of our life. One feels that Jesus is again here on earth. Jesus wants man to open his heart and accept Him, and allow Him to become man's happiness and joy.
Jesus is trying to help us to become happy here on earth, while, of course, promising us the heavenly happiness of paradise. That’s why for Him, as the Divine Saviour, man’s disunity is so painful. If we fall in love with Jesus Christ, if we surrender ourselves to Him, then there is nothing better to do but work for unity, that we all become one. That is why this Message [True Life in God] is so essential, so important, and everybody should read it to open himself and accept it.
Often people who follow the Medjugorje Messages are opposed to the True Life in God Messages. Is it normal for you, can it be justified?
I think that the main reason for it is that the people don’t know the Messages and this is probably the reason they don’t understand them and oppose them - they haven’t read them.
Probably they hear the negativities from others?
People have heard that Rome - the Vatican - was against the Messages, so they are ‘a priori’ against the Messages. But everybody who reads these Messages and meditates on them, would be able to see that there is nothing against the faith or the Church, they simply help a man to love the Church, to get to love Jesus and to live with Him.
Moving on to your responsibility of announcing the Medjugorje Secrets in advance, could you say a few words on this matter?
As far as the Secrets are concerned, if anybody is interested to know, I could say that Mirjana has received all ten Secrets and on behalf of all the Medjugorje visionaries she will reveal them when the time comes. It is also confirmation that as the Secrets have been gifted to Mirjana, so each visionary will receive all ten Secrets. The first two Secrets are warnings for all those who believed in Medjugorje. When the Secrets are fulfilled all will know that the visionaries were telling the truth and that Our Lady was in Medjugorje. The third Secret is the visible sign on Apparition Hill which will be a great joy for those who believed and who were living the Gospel and in accordance with the Messages which Our Lady gave in Medjugorje. Ten days before the Secrets all will know what is happening and the priest together with Mirjana will fast and pray. Then three days in advance it will be possible to declare it, ‘Urbi at orbi’.
You will be in personal contact with Mirjana? You will be together?
She knows my phone number and it will not be a problem to get together. The first two Secrets and also the third one are connected to Medjugorje, so we will be obliged to be in Medjugorje for the fulfilment of these Secrets.
Are you anticipating that when the first three Secrets have been announced and fulfilled that the world, as a whole, will believe in the authenticity of Medjugorje?
I hope that it will help many people to settle their lives, to convert, to believe, and become new people. In any case we all know - when Jesus came two thousand years ago, many miraculous signs occurred. And the Holy Mass itself is a miracle, a sign which is occurring every day. We see how difficult it is to turn the people back to God, it is so difficult to convert people. I think and hope that when these signs and the Secrets are realized, that they will help everybody, at least to those who visited Medjugorje.
Of course many people have hoped, prayed and lived according the Holy Gospel although they have not visited Medjugorje yet. I hope it will be a final call to the people for conversion, to return to God and to start to rely on God.
